Understanding Revisions
All the metadata for a scan and the resulting lineage are grouped together in a single **revision**. Each revision represents a point-in-time snapshot of all the coordinated metadata and lineage in the corporate systems and technologies used in the enterprise. Users will see the most recent revision by default but can switch to an older revision showing the metadata and lineage at an earlier point
