Assetize

Version intelligence

Compare Maximo versions. Understand the change, do not drown in a diff.

Pick two releases — 8.x, 9.0, 9.1 or 9.2 — and see what actually changed: deprecations, behaviour changes, API changes and gotchas, each backed by a cited source.

Two contexts. One clear question.

Every finding is generated from harvested IBM release notes, APARs and support pages plus hand-sourced gap-fill held to the same citation standard. Nothing on this page is invented: a version pair with thin coverage shows fewer findings rather than a padded or guessed report.

Announcement volume is not upgrade burden

Only impact-lane evidence scores — deprecations, behaviour changes, API changes, gotchas. Announced features and fixed APARs are reported in their own lanes, so a release with a long announcement list can never present itself as a heavy upgrade.

Where the impact sits, and every functional area touched

The report breaks the change set down by functional area and by impact lane, so a planner can see which parts of an estate a move actually touches, and what carried forward unchanged.

The same report, over MCP

The identical comparison is available headlessly through the compare_maximo_versions tool on the Assetize MCP server — see Connect your AI (MCP) for how to wire it into an agent.
