The evaluator
Open the web edition and use the fictional practice data. Ten minutes shows whether it would have caught your last load's problems.
The data loader
Web for the grid and the plain-words layout. Excel if the sheet already lives there.
The consultant
Excel edition on your laptop for each customer, with data kept on the PC. Web to show the same journey to a colleague.
The platform owner
Self-hosted. Your server, your sign-in links, your list of allowed Maximo hosts, your backups.
The upgrade lead
Any edition. The 7.6.1.3 to 9.x comparison and readiness check are the same. Use web or self-hosted for shared run history.
The approver
Web or self-hosted with a viewer role: read the run record, change nothing.
