Removed / replaced: Remote Method Invocation (RMI) from custom extensions and external applications → REST API (removed Maximo Manage (MAS)). Removed / replaced: User synchronization status page and the MASUSERSYNC cron task → Centralized user management: LDAP users synchronize directly into the relational database (removed 9.2). In MAS 9.2 user synchronization is removed for every application except Maximo Real Estate and Facilities; the User synchronization status page is no longer available and MASUSERSYNC is no longer used. The MongoDB user and group collections are renamed *_pre_upgrade_91_backup after upgrade. The User synchronization status page is no longer available in Maximo Application Suite 9.2 Change Watch

Removed / replaced: CouchDB (Maximo Collaborate component) → MongoDB (removed 9.1). In the Maximo Collaborate component 9.1, CouchDB is replaced with MongoDB. Maximo Optimizer likewise requires MongoDB installed and configured before deployment. Renamed: IBM Maximo Assist → IBM Maximo Collaborate (deprecated 9.1). Starting in Maximo Application Suite 9.1, IBM Maximo Assist is named IBM Maximo Collaborate. IBM Maximo Assist is renamed to IBM Maximo Collaborate in 9.1
Deprecated: IBM User Data Services (UDS) operator → IBM Data Reporter Operator (DRO) (deprecated 9.0 · 8.11.7 · 8.10.10). User Data Services is deprecated and replaced with IBM Data Reporter Operator starting in MAS 9.0, 8.11.7 and 8.10.10. Starting in 9.0, if you are using UDS you must migrate to DRO. Renamed: IBM TRIRIGA → IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities (). IBM states that IBM TRIRIGA has evolved into IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities; its core IWMS capabilities are part of the wider Maximo Application Suite.
